GIRIVA  7 Layer  Barrier Geomembrane Liners is  seven layered co-extruded liner . The EVOH is used as Barrier layer. The barrier properties are designed against critical gases of oxygen and methane .It is specifically engineered to serve as a barrier gives superior mechanical properties thus giving longer life.

The 7 Layer film allows us to better control raw material and optimize the same for superior quality performance.

It has excellent gas barrier properties and excellent process ability. In addition, it has stretch ability, abrasion resistance, cold resistance and surface strength.

APPLICATIONS

Methane Gas Barrier

Methane gas can enter a house through several pathways, including leaks in plumbing, foundation cracks, and even from nearby sources like landfills or wells. Methane gas entering a house can cause harm, primarily due to the risk of suffocation and the possibility of explosions. While methane is generally non-toxic in small amounts, large concentrations can displace oxygen, leading to asphyxiation. Additionally, methane is highly flammable and can cause explosions if ignited.

Radon Gas Barrier

Radon gas, a naturally occurring radioactive gas, can enter a home through various pathways like cracks in the foundation, gaps around pipes, or even through well water. It typically moves up from the ground and can build up inside the home, particularly in areas like basements and crawl spaces.  Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that seeps into homes through cracks in foundations, soil, and building materials. Prolonged exposure to radon, especially when combined with smoking, significantly increases the risk of developing lung cancer.

LandFill Capping

GIRIVA gas barrier Geomembrane in a landfill capping is a system designed to prevent the migration of landfill gas, primarily methane and carbon dioxide, from the landfill into the surrounding environment. This barrier geomembrane is crucial for reducing air pollution, preventing odor issues, and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.

Gas Barrier GCL

Geosynthetic Clay Liner is laminated with gas Barrier Film from 0.2mm to 0.5mm

Combines hydraulic and gas barrier properties.

GEOFOAM

EPS geofoams are degraded by VOCs emitted by fuels leading to deterioration of the road condition

Common liners (typically 1mm LLDPE) cannot prevent this Effects due to their high gas permeability.
