Ground Improvement for R & D Department of Gujarat
The R & D Department of Gujarat collaborated with Classic Construction Pvt Ltd to implement a ground improvement project utilizing HDPE Geocell technology.
The project aimed to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the soil in a challenging environment where conventional methods had failed. The objective was to improve the ground’s stability for future construction and infrastructure development.
By employing HDPE Geocell, which confines soil and aggregates, the project provided an effective means to distribute loads and mitigate settlement. Spanning 67,000 SQM, the geocell system facilitated better drainage and soil reinforcement, ultimately leading to a more stable foundation.
The successful implementation not only improved the ground conditions but also allowed for future development plans to proceed without structural concerns, showcasing the versatility and effectiveness of geocell technology.
